Another Way by Nancy Gaffney
Months ago, I had interviewed Nancy Gaffney and enjoyed both the conversation and her book Prey for Closure. Weeks back, she sent me a copy of her new book, at the time unpublished, and asked for my opinion. Understanding it to be science fiction, I held off my reading, due both to being busy, but mostly because I didn’t want to hurt her feelings. I’ve been reading scifi since I saw my first book in elementary school and, from then on, it has been a steady diet. Knowing I had read all the classics from the giant authors of this genre, I can be a tough sell.
Another Way is absolutely frikkin’ brilliant! It has layer upon layer to discover, themes to explore and characters to both love and hate. This is a first class book and highly recommended.
